For ten years, Ariana Madix has been under the love spell of Tom Sandoval. She might have been the only woman who was into overplayed white nail polish, coverbands, and a knack for lying. But now that she is seeing clearer, the Something About Her co-owner is realizing there are plenty of fish in the sea. Cue, Daniel Wai. Vanderpump Rules viewers were just introduced to Daniel in the newest episode, and he says that he is laid back and not about the drama. But the real question is if Ariana and Daniel are still together.
I didn’t expect Ariana to bounce back so quickly if I am being honest. Sandy did her dirty for the whole world to see. I would have found a cave and hidden away if it were me. But Ariana woke up and chose violence in the form of revenge. Since she found out that her close friend, Rachel Leviss, was screwing her man, she has been on a mission to scoop up all the collab ads possible. Now, Ariana has it all. A good-ish group of friends, money in her bank, and a man who loves her like she has never been loved before.
Ariana’s rebound
Less than a week after Scandoval broke in March 2023, Ariana was in Mexico attending her friend’s wedding. But the duo first started to draw speculation in April 2023 while attending the famed music festival, Coachella. While partying it up, Daniel and Ariana cozied up with a close group of friends. Many reported seeing them kissing and canoodling while at the event. Paparazzi even snapped them kissing in LAX days later. Ariana was then spotted hanging out in New York City with Daniel as they attended a New York Yankees baseball game in May. From then on, the two have had nothing but forward momentum as they navigate their feelings.
Ariana gushed while on Watch What Happens Live that she was “very happy” with Daniel. After Ariana competed in Dancing with the Stars, Daniel showed his support by showing up to cheer her on. The trainer took to his Instagram to give his lady a special shout, writing, “This is an appreciation post for @arianamadix. I am so proud of you, and you are so amazing, and to me, you are the champ, the people’s champ. Yo @pashapashkov thank you for all that you have done and for guiding her through this journey.” Clearly, the two are smitten with one another.
Love found
For those dying to know, Ariana and Daniel are still very much an item. Just last week, Ariana complimented Daniel on his social media. Daniel posted a photo of himself posing on the beach in all his glory. Ariana took to the comment to write, “Thirst trap is certainly doing its job here.” Ariana also wrote “My lord” on a workout photo showing Daniel lifting some heavy weight.
Future plans
I think these two are in it for the long haul. Ariana recently spoke with Daniel about her plans for the future. Vanderpump Rules viewers saw the couple at dinner talking about their long-distance relationship. Ariana noted that she had always thought she’d be bicoastal, but now it depends on where the work takes her. But Ariana did share that they “enjoy each other’s company.” Daniel also seems fully invested, mentioning he wanted to spend his winters in Europe.
When asked how Daniel was doing on the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Ariana said he was “Good. Being cute in New York City.” Fans are thrilled to see Ariana in her dating era. The blonde is happier and more content within herself. While in San Francisco, she explained to Brock Davies that she felt powerful and was able to embrace her anger even though so many felt she should get over the scandal.
Fans can expect to see a bit more of Daniel as Season 11 winds down. The trainer has made it clear he doesn’t have a problem with Tom but will always back up Ariana. Assuming Pump Rules Season 12 gets the green light, I hope Ariana and Dan’s relationship will be a major storyline.
