Summer House Season 8 is full of surprises. Primarily, Carl Radke calling off his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard just weeks before their scheduled wedding was a shock to the system. Additionally, West Wilson has been a pleasant surprise as the lovable goofball of the group. And apparently, at the Season 8 reunion, Kyle Cooke will finally lose his mullet.
Kyle previously teased fans on Watch What Happens Live that he’d let Andy Cohen cut his hair at the reunion. Andy couldn’t even wait to leave the building to show off a bag of Kyle’s hair on his Instagram Story to prove he accomplished his mission. However, a few photos only surfaced of Kyle right after the reunion chop that shows off Andy’s self-proclaimed botch job. Now, he’s revealing a new look courtesy of a barber who likely has a little more experience than the king of Bravo.
Kyle is back to his short-hair era
Kyle posted a promo video on Instagram alongside Carl to advertise for a LoverBoy event. In the video, he’s seen sporting a sleek, short haircut. Amanda Batula has to be jumping for joy that the mullet has made its way out of her life and into the WWHL Clubhouse. However, it does feel like the end of an iconic era.
Knowing Kyle, he’ll likely just go back to sporting his mullet wig at future Hamptons parties until he decides to grow back the real thing. That’s also assuming Amanda would let him re-grow his mullet without chopping it off in his sleep. Either way, Kyle is sporting his new look with style, even if we do miss the mullet a little bit already.
