Joe Amabile Discusses ‘Unfortunate’ Elimination Decision on The GOAT

Amazon Prime Video’s newest series, The GOAT, features a handful of reality TV stars from shows like SurvivorBig Brother, and the Real Housewives, places them in a massive house, and makes them compete to see who is the “Greatest of All Time.” And if they make it to the end, they win $200,000.

Of course, along the way, there’s drama, backstabbing, strategy, and plenty of hurt feelings. Joe Amabile and Tayshia Adams from The Bachelor experienced that firsthand.

During the second episode, the votes came down to Tayshia and Joe, and they both had to flip on each other to stay safe. So, where do they stand today? Us Weekly gave us all of the details.

After Tayshia’s shocking elimination, Joe discussed the tense moment with Us, saying he planned to fight until the very end.

“I think it’s all good [between us] at the moment. It was either I was going home or she was going home,” he said. “And you can’t even vote for yourself and I’m not going to give up.”

As watchers saw, the votes were split, and according to Joe, he had to turn on his Bachelor friend to make it further. “It was kind of the only way I could stay in the game and it was an unfortunate situation. But it was truly my only way to continue on.”

He continued, saying he was playing this game for himself and nobody else. “At the end of the day, the hard truth is in a game like this there could only be one winner.”

The first three episodes are available to stream on Prime Video, and it’s messy as all get out. Episode 3 ended with Wendell Holland blindsiding Da’Vonne Rogers. What will chaos will Episode 4 bring?

You can tune in to new episodes of The GOAT on Thursdays to find out.
