Watch: Kyle Richards’ Hilarious Encounter With a Rodent on Her Car

Obviously, Kyle Richards has a flair for the dramatic, but this Instagram video of her facing off with a rat takes things to a new level. In case you missed it, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared an Instagram video of herself trapped in her car, held hostage by a tiny little rat sitting on her mirror. It might be the funniest thing Kyle has done all year.

Rat: 1, Kyle: 0

Unless you suffer from musophobia (yes that’s the word for someone scared of rodents), then the sight of this little grey rodent would probably make you smile. It’s like a real-life version of Rataoullie, and you can see in the rat’s eyes that he was innocently looking for a friend. Unfortunately, Kyle wasn’t interested.

“This happened to me today. I stopped for coffee & was sitting in my car looking at emails,” Kyle wrote before encouraging viewers not to “judge” her reaction.

The video showed Kyle terrified to the point that you’d think her life was at risk. Breathlessly, she captured the ordeal on her phone while trying to figure out her escape plan. In the caption, she explained how she felt afraid the rat would somehow squeeze its way in through the window.

“Please help me. What is happening?” Kyle screamed in the video. “I’ve got to get out of my car!”

Throughout the ordeal, Kyle claimed she couldn’t feel her legs. Literally, she felt paralyzed with fear. According to her, the whole ordeal went on for several minutes before the rat disappeared out of sight. She said she “zoomed” away to escape. The poor rat probably wound up flattened out in that parking lot, but Kyle didn’t stick around to find out.

She recalled, “Maybe five minutes after I stop the video he dropped down and I did not know where to! So I zoomed out and had to pull over and park for 20 minutes until I could feel my legs again.”
