Shereé Whitfield’s Ex Martell Holt Convicted of Domestic Violence

Real Housewives of Atlanta OG Shereé Whitfield has questionable taste in men. Her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield, allegedly verbally and physically abused her. She was involved for years with Tyrone Gilliams, who was serving a 10-year sentence in a federal prison at the time, and called her every day from behind bars to tell her how much he loved her.

Then in Season 15 of RHOA, Shereé introduced her new boo, Love and Marriage: Huntsville star Martell Holt. The relationship was short-lived, however, and ended before the reunion for that season was filmed.

Earlier this month, Shereé’s former man was convicted of Domestic Violence: Harassing Communications against his ex-wife Melody Shari Rodgers. The queen of Chateau Shereé sure can pick ’em.

An explicit video

Per court documents obtained by Urban Belle, Martell was found guilty on May 2. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail (suspended) and 12 months of supervised probation. He was also fined over $500 and is prohibited from having any contact with his ex-wife. Martell is out on bond pending an appeal by his attorney.

The entrepreneur was initially arrested in January on a warrant for Domestic Violence. His ex-wife requested the warrant in July 2023, after a friend revealed that Martell planned to release an explicit video of Melody on social media.

In the LAMH season premiere, Melody explained how the whole incident started. It began when Martell sent her a text message telling her to stop “messing with him.” The text was accompanied by a screenshot from a video they had previously recorded. She alleged that Martell was angry with her, believing she had cheated on him with another man.

Coincidentally, Martell has an ongoing custody case between him and his ex. He’s asking for full custody of their children, allowing them to appear on LAMH and other media platforms. That’s probably not going to happen now that he’s been convicted of domestic violence.

Meanwhile, Shereé definitely needs some help choosing the men she dates. She’s a beautiful, smart businesswoman with a lot to offer, and she deserves someone of a higher caliber than she’s chosen in the past.
