Harry Hamlin Reveals Text He Sent to Garcelle Beauvais After RHOBH Bolognese Sauce Fight

As someone who can’t eat bolognese without thinking about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it’s refreshing to know that the Season 11 sauce saga is still haunting Harry Hamlin, too. Remember how he prepared that meal for the cast, Garcelle Beauvais got to take some sauce home, and then Lisa Rinna claimed she never thanked Harry? Interviewers are still asking him about it.

Harry has the receipts

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham, Harry dished about his infamous dish and how it turned into a RHOBH storyline. Technically, it all started with Sutton Stracke saying that Lisa and Harry didn’t thank her for getting her tickets to an Elton John event.

“Garcelle decided to join in with that person who said that we hadn’t thanked them for Elton John,” Harry recalled.

He continued, “And since that became a thing, then Lisa said, ‘But wait a minute. You never thanked us for the bolognese sauce.'”

Then, Harry decided to pull out some receipts to show the text exchange he had with Garcelle at the time. It showed two things. First, it proved that Garcelle did the right thing by reaching out to Harry. It also shows that he was 100% a class act in all of this.

Harry explained, “Okay, so I wrote a text to Garcelle and she said something, she apologized for taking so long to send a note, but hopefully you receive this in good spirits. I mean, this was crazy, so I texted her back on September 11th.”

Harry proceeded to read the text, which said, “Hi Garcelle. No worries. I never, ever expect thank you or acknowledgment. I’m just glad you like my sauce. This show brings out the best and the worst in us and in the long run, it’s a learning experience that must not be taken too seriously. I say as long as the checks don’t bounce, have at it. Our friendship is safe and sound.”

Ultimately, Harry said that the whole bolognese situation as it unfolded on TV was “Baloney. But, he knew it was a positive thing in the end. It literally made his sauce famous. He’s manufacturing a line of bolognese sauce, and he said it will be hitting stores soon. Plus, he has a cooking show on the way, which he said was directly inspired by the catering skills he showed off on RHOBH. So, the bolognese is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
