The crew of Vanderpump Rules stars seems more disconnected than ever. The Scandoval of it all tore this group in two, and putting the pieces back has been anything but easier. Somehow, Ariana Madix started receiving heat for the way she chose to heal after her breakup. Meanwhile, Tom Sandoval is on his redemption tour. Make it make sense.
We’re nearly through with the Pump Rules reunion and the mess is only mounting. Lala Kent stopped trying to hide behind a girls’ girl persona by combatting Ariana and Katie Maloney on stage. Like c’mon, Sandoval is sitting right there. Regardless, Ariana and Katie remain unbothered as ever. They recently opened their sandwich shop Something About Her after a much-anticipated wait. Despite the exciting news, their VPR co-stars didn’t seem so excited.
Pump Rules pettiness
Anyone who has been on Bravo Instagram this week has likely had their feeds inundated with the news of Something About Her’s opening. Like, Andy Cohen made an appearance at the opening and the Summer House stars have been spreading the love for the shop on social media. One noticeable difference is the silence from Katie and Ariana’s Pump Rules co-stars. Shockingly, the only person who seemingly publically congratulated the pair was Tom Schwartz, of all people.
Tom posted an Instagram Story to congratulate his ex on the new business. “Shout out to @somethingabouther on their grand opening,” Schwartz wrote. “Campaign for a muffelata menu placement begins now.” Very on-brand for aww shucks Schwartzy.
Otherwise, the Pump Rules stars were radio silent, even Scheana Shay, Ariana’s alleged bestie for life. It’s not shocking that Lala remained quiet, but even their “boss” Lisa Vanderpump didn’t make a post about the big news. It seems like an instance of extreme pettiness, but we are big enough to congratulate the two stars on the undoubtedly major accomplishment.
