Kyle Cooke Slams Craig Conover’s Spritz Company Investment: ‘Really Shady Operation’

Kyle Cooke is never a man to mince his words, even when he probably should. The Summer House OG is unapologetically blunt in all aspects of life. It’s helped him create a successful business with Loverboy, but the mullet man’s mouth has gotten him in trouble more than once.

Kyle went on Watch What Happens Live recently to stir up some more trouble for himself. Kyle revealed that he was peeved off at his “bro” Craig Conover of Southern Charm. Apparently, Craig recently became a spokesman for one of Loverboy’s direct competitors. During his visit to the WWHL Clubhouse, Kyle let it rip. He offered up his candid feelings about Craig’s new business deal.

Kyle isn’t happy with Craig

During the Watch What Happens Live After Show, Kyle went on a tirade about his beef with Craig and the rival spritz company. “The founder took me out to dinner days before, I think, the deal and failed to mention any of that and milked information from me,” Kyle said. “Really shady operation.” Summer should be fun, Kyle, this is not fun.

Apparently, Kyle didn’t like that Craig waited until after he accepted the deal to tell his friend. “He claimed that he didn’t know that I have a spritz, he thought I just had sparkling hard teas. And I’m like, ‘Bro we launched our spritz line a year and a half before this company,'” Kyle added. ” He’s had all these products, so don’t tell me you thought we were just a tea company.” Craig really couldn’t come up with a better excuse than he didn’t know any better? Paige DeSorbo, please help this man.

In general, Kyle thinks that the rival brand is “riding” Craig for his Instagram followers, even though it ended up making more publicity for Loveboy. “They already have a big following so if they couldn’t do it without him are you going to be able to do it with him?” Kyle said. “I don’t wish anyone ill will but the way they went about it really rubbed me the wrong way.” Fair enough.

At the end of Kyle’s venting session, he ultimately felt bad that business got in the middle of his friendship with Craig. “Whenever someone says, ‘Kyle, it’s just business’ that’s to basically justify something they did that was kind of whack,” Kyle said.

Summer House continues Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
