Ariana Madix went through it in Vanderpump Rules Season 10. After learning about Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss, she went off on her now-ex. Following that, she shut him out of her life to the very best of her abilities. Boundaries for sure help, but even still, the summer that followed was massively “difficult” for our favorite little sandwich sovereign.
Speak on it, Ariana
In a sneak peek for the VPR Season 11 Reunion, Part 3, Andy Cohen kicks things off with Brock Davies. “Brock, you were taken aback at how triggered Ariana was at the water tasting.” In response, Brock explains that it “was really tough to see her respond like that.” Jumping in for the assist, his sidekick Scheana Shay adds that Ariana’s pain was hard to “see in that moment.”
Switching gears, Andy asks Ariana “Do you think you’ll ever be able to be in a room with Tom and have a civil conversation?” Finally, Ariana herself gets a chance to speak on it.
“At this point, no, I don’t feel comfortable with that,” she states. Moving right along, Andy reminds Ariana that in Season 11, both James Kennedy and Lala Kent wanted her to release her anger. On James’ end, he was concerned for Ariana. Lala, however, was concerned about the storyline, and you cannot convince me otherwise.
But also, I hate this. The processing of traumas takes time.
Agreeing with my sentiments, Ariana explains that “by now, now is March 2024. This [filming] is Summer of 2023, and I think the only way past it is through it. Yes, if in a year from now I’m in this place, by all means,” we can call her out then.
“Last summer was really, really difficult,” Ariana emotionally adds. “I felt like, as much as people were coming from a place of care, I felt like I was being pushed to be further along than I was ready for,” she adds.
May this summer be much kinder, Ariana.
The Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion concludes on Tuesday, May 28, at 8/7c on Bravo.
TELL US – SHOULD WE (YES) GIVE ARIANA THE GRACE TO HEAL ON HER OWN TIME FRAME?
