Brittany Cartwright has made a statement amid Jax Taylor’s escapades with Instagram model Paige Woolen. The timing of Brittany’s statement was everything. But let’s back up. Less than a week ago, Jax was photographed with Paige as the two shared a three-hour lunch.
The Valley fans quickly took note given the ongoing separation between Brittany and Jax. Jax later denied that he and Paige were dating but the rumors were too lively to kill at that point. So, what did Brittany have to say about the rumors? Well, she was admittedly rather cryptic.
Did Brittany speak directly to Paige with her IG story?
On May 26, the same day that Jax had lunch with Paige, Brittany responded to a very pointed video on social media. She reposted the video on her Instagram story and Reality Blurb documented the action as it unfolded. The video that Brittany reposted saw one fan of The Valley in disbelief over the way Jax treated his wife.
The Instagram user, @youknownat, said, “He brought his family onto this show and this is what he’s doing to her? He’s choosing to present her in that kind of light and treat her like that. This is what he’s doing to her in front of everybody.” She further asked, “That was your plan for the TV show?”
She continued, “I think she’s sick all the time because she’s treated terribly and she’s in a bad relationship and she knows there’s nothing she can do to make it any better.” Under the repost, Brittany wrote, “Thank you, [and] just imagine what I’ve been through behind closed doors.” Given the timing, followers had to wonder if that had anything to do with Paige.
Shortly thereafter, Brittany posted another message that seemingly referenced Paige. Her Instagram story read, “Girl, you have no idea how amazing life is about to get for you. Stay focused [and] trust the process.”
