Vanderpump Rules Season 11 has come to a close, and Ariana Madix continues to deal with nonsense. First, it was all of the mess Tom Sandoval made in the process of ending their decade-long relationship. Then, she had Lala Kent and Co. defending Sandoval and questioning why Ariana didn’t want to help her ex on his “redemption” tour. How Ariana maintains her poise is an impressive feat.
Part 3 of the Pump Rules reunion was a rocky ride for Ariana in more ways than one. She had to deal with being ambushed by that chaotic finale and defend her tenure on VPR in general. She also had to deal with questions about her new man Daniel Wai. Like, it’s as if she needed to justify anything to Sandoval and his cronies these days about her relationship choices.
Ariana’s man doesn’t want the spotlight
During the Vanderpump Rules reunion, Andy Cohen asked Ariana why Daniel didn’t participate in group events during the final cast trip to San Francisco. “He’s not getting paid,” Ariana said bluntly. Sounds fair to us.
Andy tried to double down by saying that Daniel is still Ariana’s boyfriend as if that means he has to hang out with her castmate/ex-boyfriend while cameras are rolling. Ariana defended her man again, saying he had other friends in San Francisco to see while she was filming the show that she stars in. “He doesn’t want to be on this show,” she added. And that’s on that.
For one moment during the reunion, Lala actually defended Ariana for not having her man in the middle of the Pump Rules drama. “I felt like it was already such an awkward dynamic that was happening,” Lala commented. “I was like, ‘Girl you’ve got it figured out. He’s there when you come home and go to bed.'” Period.
