At the end of Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix made herself very clear. She wants to be away from Tom Sandoval. Unfortunately, their housing situation is making that increasingly difficult.
We already knew they were in a deadlock over who would keep the house. What we didn’t realize is just how long their legal battle could take. Apparently, this whole thing could go all the way until 2026.
The long road ahead
Us Weekly obtained court documents related to the VPR real estate nightmare. According to the court documents, Tom and Ariana were instructed to settle this via private meditation. If they’re unable to settle it privately, the issue will go to trial starting February 17, 2026. That’s nearly three years after the time their relationship imploded.
As a reminder, Tom offered to buy Ariana out of the house, but we learned during VPR Season 11 Secrets Revealed the true details of the proposal. He tried to offer her $600,000 in cash, which he claimed was the equivalent of them selling the house for $3.1 million and splitting the proceeds. Ariana didn’t appreciate that offer and filed her lawsuit to try to force the sale of the home. Now, she’s essentially back to square one after this latest ruling told them to resolve it privately.
We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for updates over the next two years while Ariana and Tom try to sort this out. Otherwise, we can expect to see the two head to court in 2026. In the meantime, Ariana is ready to move on from the house she shares with her ex. Earlier this year, she purchased a $1.6 million home in Los Angeles, fitted with an outdoor meditation deck and fabulous views of the Hollywood sign.
