Teresa Giudice is launching a new podcast amid a whirlwind of poor publicity. Indeed, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been in a tough spot with the press for quite a while.
RHONJ Season 13 made Teresa look bad, to put it lightly. Her husband, Luis Ruelas, certainly didn’t help her image. But mainly, fans were displeased with Tre’s pride, a pride that carried over into Season 14.
Teresa’s refusal to film with costars has arguably damaged the show’s reputation beyond what can be fixed. And that’s not even mentioning the recent leaks allegations. So, with all this bad press, Tre apparently decided now was the right time to start a podcast.
Teresa announces podcast for mid-June
On June 10, Teresa announced her new podcast via Instagram. “Hi, guys,” she told the camera. “I wanna introduce you to my new podcast. It’s ‘Turning the Tables by Teresa Giudice.’ I am super excited about it.” The video then showed brief teaser clips of the podcast, showing Luis in conversation with his wife from across the table.
Tre then said, “Please rate, review, and subscribe. And I can’t wait to continue this journey with you guys. We’re gonna have so much fun! Love, love, love you guys. Mwah!” In the post’s caption, she told fans that the podcast would be released on June 12. “It’s time to see the real me!” she further teased.
Commenters showed mixed reactions. Detractors expressed the typical anti-Teresa sentiment. As one commenter put it, “When there is no growth or accountability it is hard to get behind something that feels inauthentic.” Still, other fans were all too excited. Another commenter wrote, “Soooo excited for this. You look so comfortable and natural here? this suits you.”
Fans also couldn’t help but wonder what happened to Teresa’s previous podcast, Namaste B$tches, which put out its last episode on April 10. Multiple commenters floated various rumors. Perhaps time will tell.
