In 2006, the gods dropped the first Real Housewives franchise into our laps. The series showed just how the elite lived behind their gilded gates. Fans quickly found their favorite, whether it was the young sex kitten, the newly divorced mom of three, or the ball-buster businesswoman. What unraveled was almost two decades of unfiltered chaos that took place from city to city. Followers ate the drama up and still, to this day, love to go back and relive some of the best moments. So, take a walk down memory lane with me as I pinpoint the most dramatic scenes of all time.

Ramona’s catwalk

While it might not have been the yelling and screaming we are used to from Real Housewives of New York, Ramona Singer’s Fashion Week walk was one for the books. Coming at as a possessed Wednesday, Adams, the mother of one, was on a mission to serve. Sadly, all fans really remember were her “crazy eyes.” The eyes were popping. Jill Zarin couldn’t contain herself, as she noted, “When Ramona walked out, she looked like an alien had invaded her body.”

Caroline’s soliloquy

I would argue that one of the most dramatic scenes from the Real Housewives of New Jersey was the moment Caroline Manzo told Danielle Staub about her family. As the former stripper tried to divide the group, the matriarch made sure to clarify her stance. In a Godfather-like moment, the mother of three noted, “Let me tell you something about my family. We are as thick as thieves. And we protect each other till the end.” As Danielle sat by acting like these words weren’t phasing her, the rest of us viewers learned that day that Caroline was never to be messed with. The seriousness of the conversation also made us think that the Garden State was tougher than it first appeared.

Party planner from hell

To say that Shereé Whitfield had concerns about her party was a major understatement. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was all about venting her concerns to her party planner, Anthony, but she didn’t appreciate how he “got smart” when she did. So, in an impromptu visit to the office, things popped off. As Shereé tried her best to fire the man gently, the disgruntled party planner stood up and waved his hands in her face. The move set Shereé off as she uttered just five tiny words that would go down in Real Housewives history. “Who gon’ check me, boo?”

Goodbye, Kyle!

Since the beginning of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards have been the best of friends. But somewhere between Puppygate and Lisa becoming extremely tired of the 90210 women, it all went wrong. Kyle, who is not good at confrontation, was forced to come face-to-face with LVP, and it wasn’t pretty. Lisa had been accused of selling stories to the media, and Kyle insisted that the gossip had come from Lisa’s camp.

Lisa and Ken Todd both felt blindsided by Kyle, who couldn’t find it within her to stick up for her nearest and dearest friend at the time. The conversation became messy when Ken told Kyle, “You’re not her friend.” As the word exchange continued, fans were gifted the everlasting phrase, “Goodbye, Kyle!” And the former child star was quickly escorted out of Villa Rosa.

Scary Island

I would describe this last dramatic moment on the list as historical and classic. Again, the Real Housewives of New York came in clutch, this time with Scary Island. It all started with Kelly Bensimon freaking out about goodie bags being left outside her door. The model felt personally victimized as she said, “I don’t get why she did this. I don’t get why she did this.” The mother of two told cameras, “It was so impersonal, and it just rubbed me the wrong way.”

Kelly began crying on her bed shortly after. And told Bravo cameras she was “alone on Scary Island with no friends.” After confiding in Jill, the rest of the cast became worried about Kelly’s mental state.

After feeling like she was attacked at dinner, Kelly left, asking, “Does anybody want a jellybean? Or a lollipop? Can we just calm down and stop?” At this point, the women have had enough of her shenanigans, with Bethenny Frankel taking the lead as she yelled, “Go to sleep!”
