When you make your Watch What Happens Live debut, there’s bound to be a little bit of pressure to perform. You want to be memorable, and of course, you want Andy Cohen to like you. Joking about someone’s death is probably a good way to mess up at least on of those things. Unfortunately, Taleen Marie just crossed that line when talking about Caroline Stanbury.
The Real Housewives of Dubai newbie was trying to throw shade at her costar, but this one didn’t really land. Check out the moment below, and let us know if you think she took things too far.
Taleen’s grim prediction about Caroline Stanbury
The shady moment happened when Andy was running through a series of audience polls. In one question, he asked the viewers if Caroline’s marriage to Sergio Carrallo would last longer than 15 years.
“Stanbury will be dead by then,” Taleen quipped with a ginormous grin on her face.
You could tell Andy didn’t love the joke. He said it was “ageism” and quickly moved to a different topic. Still, there’s no way this WWHL moment won’t get brought up again in the future — especially considering all of the recent conversations about Caroline’s age.
Taleen’s crack about Caroline passing away in the near future wasn’t the only jab she took during her WWHL debut. Earlier in the episode, Taleen said that Caroline was “abusing” Sergio. She also made cracks about Caroline’s facelift.
It’s safe to say that this newbie is coming in hot, but meanwhile, Caroline is unphased. She’s been proudly showing off her facelift, and in a recent interview, she promised that the “haters” wouldn’t bring her down in Season 2.
“This year, I refuse to let them kill my mojo. I’m just going to be me,” Caroline said. “Everyone’s really responding [positively] to me now, and I’m back to who I was.”
