Vanderpump Rules may be trying to move past the Scandoval era, but Rachel Leviss is determined never just to forgive and forget. Rachel may have left Pump Rules after her months-long affair with Tom Sandoval went public. But behind the scenes, she’s still in a messy legal battle involving both Tom and Ariana Madix. Truly, it’s a lot to unpack.
Rachel previously sued Tom and Ariana in a revenge porn lawsuit, accusing them of eavesdropping, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She claims that Sandoval recorded a FaceTime video of her “in a state of undress and masturbating” without her consent or knowledge. Rachel then claims that Ariana distributed the recordings and/or showed them to other people. Now, she’s adding more parties to the messy lawsuit that includes the folks behind the VPR cameras.
Rachel is bringing Bravo into it
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Rachel may be adding NBC Universal, Bravo, and Evolution Media to the lawsuit. It sounds like Bethenny Frankel’s reality reckoning of it all planted some sort of seed into her mind to try to bring Bravo down by any means necessary. We keep saying it, but this entire situation really is just a mess.
Anyway, Rachel claims that the production company and the network were allegedly “involved in some manner in the events and circumstances giving rise to [her] lawsuit”. It’s all very vague. Evidently, it seems like the case isn’t going to be thrown out like Tom and Ariana had hoped. It might be the first time in literally months that Sandoval and Ariana can agree on something. Regardless, the next hearing in the case is set for July 11.
