He put a ring on it! After causing a flurry of drama on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard, Amir Lancaster is engaged to Natalie Cortes. Amir shared the update on his Instagram Stories, and it looks like these two are one step closer to their happily ever after. Bless their hearts.
Congrats to Amir and Natalie
Amir made a splash in the first season of SHMV because he was as single as a Pringle. Fast forward to Season 2, and he was madly in love with his boo Natalie. However, when she came to visit her man at the Summer House, she quickly tried to insert herself into drama that had nothing to do with her.
The response to Natalie was overwhelmingly negative both in the house and from the audience. Amir didn’t care and wanted to stand by Natalie. He even threatened to quit the show if she couldn’t be a part of it. Obviously, that doesn’t matter now. The show is on an indefinite pause, which leaves the two lovebirds to move forward with their real estate romance.
On IG, Amir shared the details of the engagement. As reported by People, he posted a picture of Natalie from the day they first met. A few hours later, he followed it up with a picture of Natalie with a huge rock on her finger. He wrote, “Day 614″ under the caption.
The engagement news comes just a few weeks after the couple purchased a home together. At the time, he teased that it was “just the start of something amazing,” so he must have been hearing the wedding bells ringing when they bought the house. Is it too soon to start asking about a baby? That seems like the next logical next step.
