Summer House viewers could only hope for the best for Ciara Miller after the Season 8 reunion revealed a sad end to her romance with West Wilson. She had already experienced a public fling with Southern Charm star Austen Kroll. That also ended in confusion and a lack of commitment.
But life continues, and some time has passed since filming Summer House. Ciara revealed that she has decidedly moved on. And just in time for production to start on Season 9.
Ciara calls “restarting” a part of “being in your 20s”
The nurse-turned-model exclusively revealed to People that she’s ready to “roll with the punches” when she starts filming with her ex-flame again. All the more so because, despite being single, she’s dating again.
Ciara is being kind to herself about past decisions. However, she is also “less inclined” to date a fellow reality TV star again.
“That’s part being in your 20s is screwing up some things and restarting and figuring it out,” she said.
“I keep getting my feelings hurt, so I don’t know,” the Bravolebrity said of dating on camera again. “It does create this weird thing of wanting to be more of a recluse and kind of reel it back. But in the moment, it’s so fun, but then not all parts of it are fun.”
Summer House fans have been a real support for Ciara, and often send messages of encouragement.
“I am for the girls in my DMs that are just like, ‘I can relate’ or ‘I’ve been there and you’re not dumb,’” she revealed. “The girls honestly make it worth it through thick and thin and bad and good. The girls that message you and are rallying behind you — Christ, how are we not picking girls over guys all day long? It’s really such a community.”
The Summer House veteran cherishes supportive messages from older women especially, those who offer a bit of perspective.
“I love getting messages from women who are in their 50s and 40s telling me that I’m on the right path and reassuring that you’re in your 20s and you make mistakes and you’re figuring it out and this is such a small part of your life in comparison to the big picture,” Ciara said.
