Real Housewives of New Jersey fans were shocked when Jackie Goldschneider and Margaret Josephs had a falling out. Even more stunning? Jackie decided to trade in Margaret and Melissa Gorga for Teresa Giudice. However, Teresa repeatedly stated on camera that she was using Jackie because she “want[ed] Margaret to be exposed.” Ouch! Well, Jackie and Teresa are minimizing this confusing development in their friendship. Someone, please make it make sense.
Teresa Giudice is trying to downplay her reason for befriending Jackie Goldschneider
Jackie seemed unbothered by Teresa’s comments. “It was at the beginning of our relationship. I knew it was strategic at first,” Jackie stated. “We really are good friends, so I’m very glad that it happened, but I’m excited for people to see how that happened.” Meanwhile, Jackie’s RHONJ co-star Rachel Fuda, who is feuding with Teresa, called Jackie, “The laughing stock of Bravo right now.”
Now Teresa is weighing in on her relationship with Jackie. “It really was organic,” Teresa told BravoTV.com. “It was really the way it happened on TV. And, I have to say, I do love Evan [Goldschneider].” Teresa noted that Evan behaved like “a gentleman” when she apologized to him for spreading baseless rumors that he was cheating on Jackie. “I’ve always had a special place in my heart for him. I never wanted to hurt their family,” Teresa added. Am I in the Twilight Zone version of Jersey?
She continued, “I know in my heart, I did not mean to hurt her. And she knows that.” So, why spread that rumor about Evan in Season 11 of RHONJ if she wasn’t trying to hurt Jackie? I am … confused.
For right now, Teresa and Jackie are loving their new bond. “With me and Jackie, that’s the thing. A friendship is a give and take. We both have to try with it, and we did,” Teresa explained. “It organically just happened.”
But their friendship only bloomed after Jackie fell out with Margaret. “I did always like Jackie, but I know Jackie had Margaret and Melissa in her ear in the past,” Teresa stated, “and that’s why she never got close to me. Sometimes you do bond over if someone hurt you because Margaret hurt Jackie, [and] Margaret hurt me.”
Teresa shared that she and Jackie were going on a double date with their husbands. “Because [Luis Ruelas] and Evan really like each other. So, I feel like when the husbands like each other, that’s a great package. Because then you guys can double date together, hang out together. It’s a good pairing,” Teresa remarked. “Like, a ‘couple dating’ and I love that.”
