The Summer House Season 8 reunion brought more closure to Lindsay Hubbard than was previously apparent.
The former publicist got to say her peace to her ex-fiance Carl Radke. And now, the veteran Bravolebrity is also saying that she has no regard for Carl’s reaction to her pregnancy.
Lindsay “can’t really focus” on the past
“I’m sure he’ll find out when the rest of the world finds out, but I’m not calling him up and having a conversation with him,” Lindsay stated.
Linds told People that Carl’s emotions are not hers to cater to anymore.
“That relationship is in my past, and I can’t really focus on my past anymore because I’m so focused on my present and my future,” she said. “And to be honest, his emotions are no longer my responsibility. It’s just not my problem anymore.”
It seems that there was a greater purpose to Lindsay’s split from Carl. She gushed, “It’s just so clear to me that the universe had a plan. I feel like my prayers were answered.”
“That’s what allowed me that quiet, calm strength that I had at the reunion,” she explained. “In the back of my mind, the whole time I was thinking, ‘Let me just get through this, and then I can focus on the important things that matter to me right now’ — which certainly wasn’t all that.”
The father of the child remains publicly anonymous. However, Lindsay has revealed that her boyfriend is a doctor working in biotech. They are keeping their baby’s gender private for now.
“We’re not telling anyone what we’re having yet, but the second we found out we were like, ‘Okay, let’s talk about names,’” Lindsay said. “We already have one in mind, but we’ll see if it sticks as the months go on.”
There is little else to report in regards to the “fairly easy” pregnancy. With “no morning sickness,” and “no nausea,” Lindsay’s biggest complaint is an “insatiable” appetite. Hopefully, her man is on hand to make some sandwiches.
“I’m just excited to actually be able to talk about it publicly now and share in the celebration with our friends. I’m a very ‘scream from the rooftops’ kind of girl and just ready to let it all out now,” she gushed.
