Love Island USA Season 6 is this summer’s must-watch reality TV. The batch of Islanders brought their best bathing suits and attitudes to Fiji to find love and a whole lot of drama. We’re in the midst of the season at the Casa Amor, so the tensions couldn’t be higher.
We’re also at the point in the shower where a few of the mainstay Islanders have, unfortunately, gotten voted off. Connor Newsum’s exit from the show was one of the most emotional, as many of the Islanders had developed close friendships with Connor. Unfortunately, his connection with Leah Kateb fizzled out, so it was the end of his Love Island USA road. However, it apparently wasn’t the end of his journey to find love.
Connor continues his Love Island USA journey
Connor recently spoke to Us Weekly about his time spent in Fiji. Obviously, he had a lot to say about his falling out with Leah. However, he also dropped the bomb that he and fellow dumped Islander Cass Laudano started talking about once they left the show. “She got out and I was like, ‘Hey, so what’s up?’ We’ve been texting and, maybe, potentially making some light plans,” Connor explained.
Cass was coupled up with Rob Rausch during her time on the show, so she and Connor didn’t get to explore their connection much, until now. “We had a lot in common. We had a few conversations that were just really easy and we work in the same career field,” he continued. “[Cass and I] just had a lot of similar interests, love for animals. I think everyone saw that weird fishing conversation we had when I was making her grilled cheese. Just random stuff like that. She’s really easy to talk to, she’s gorgeous and just fun to be around.” Even though their Love Island USA tenure is over, it sounds like the journey to find love is just starting for Connor and Cass.
