Kathryn Dennis’ Car’s Hit-And-Run Case in Limbo

It’s been a long road for Kathryn Dennis’ car. The insurance must be through the roof. The Southern Charm star got busted for driving around drunk. According to a police report, she caused a three-car collision after driving under the influence.

That’s enough car drama to send your insurance through the roof. However, before that happened, Kathryn was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run. Law enforcement officials are moving at a snail’s pace to address the accusation, and at this point, it remains unclear if she’ll ever be on the hook for it.

The hit-and-run case is at a standstill

According to TMZ, Kathryn’s alleged hit-and-run took place in October. They didn’t dive too far into the details of what happened, but a sheriff’s deputy was injured outside an elementary school. At the time, law enforcement officials couldn’t confirm who was behind the wheel. They identified that it was Kathryn’s car, but somehow, they couldn’t determine if she was the one behind the wheel.

Although it seems like this is something that could easily be handled by pulling some security footage, the case hasn’t moved in months. No charges have been filed and law enforcement officials said they would be open to taking new leads in the case. It’s a little questionable because they seemed pretty confident that Kathryn’s car had something to do with the accident. Who else would have been driving it?

After all of that drama happened in October, Kathryn should have parked the car in her garage, invested in a bus pass, and never hit the roads again. However, a few months later, she ended up getting busted for DUI. The cops caught her red-handed that time, with airplane bottles of Fireball littered throughout her car.

When Kathryn got picked up for her DUI, she threw a complete temper tantrum in the back of the cop car. Imagine what she’ll do if she does end up getting in trouble for the hit-and-run that happened months ago.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK KATHRYN LUCKED OUT IN HER OCTOBER HIT-AND-RUN CASE? SHOULD SHE STOP DRIVING?
