Teresa Giudice Regrets Not Preparing Luis Ruelas for the Spotlight of RHONJ

When it comes to the world of reality television, Teresa Giudice is an expert. Tre has been a cast member on the Real Housewives of New Jersey series since Season 1 premiered in 2009. Over the years, Tre has given us a divorce, a prison storyline, and a second marriage. However, her new hubby, Luis Ruelas, arrived not very well-prepped for his new life in the spotlight. On this, Teresa has regrets.

Teresa feels badly

Luis has for sure taken a beating on RHONJ. But also, some of this is of his own doing. So far, Luis has hired a PI to investigate this cast. He also says things aloud that come across as cringe (I see you, Nonno’s pajamas).

In addition, lawsuits are arising. One of which Margaret Josephs may or may not have assisted with. All these things make Luis a hot topic right now within this cast.

During Jill Zarin’s Luxury Luncheon in Southampton, New York, Teresa opened up to Us Weekly. On Luis, she wishes she had done better. Her man came on ill-equipped to handle his time spent in the limelight.

“I feel bad for him. [The] Poor guy had to go through people hurting him in my world. I’m sorry,” Teresa stressed, taking ownership of his discomfort.

When it was his turn with the talking stick, Luis admitted that he “didn’t do enough research on the show” before his first showing. Instead, he “just led with my heart.” But then, he went in for the shady kill. Perhaps he is learning after all because shade pays off in this realm.

“Today is the day without any superficial people around us. So we’re good,” Luis further added. As Dolores Catania and Jennifer Aydin were in attendance, one can only speculate who Luis was referring to.

Just kidding. We know.

Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.

TELL US – DOES LUIS COME ACROSS AS ILL-EQUIPPED TO HANDLE HIS NEW REALITY TELEVISION PLATFORM? IS THERE ANYTHING THAT TERESA COULD HAVE DONE THAT MIGHT HAVE HELPED HER MAN?
