Dave Bautista took a light jab at Teresa Giudice in his recent Watch What Happens Live appearance. And when someone with as much influence as Bautista takes a jab, how does one even recover?
While many likely know Bautista for his time in the WWE, he’s more widely known as an actor. With his roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy films and Glass Onion, Bautista became a household name in just a few years. Teresa, meanwhile, is generally known for less admirable reasons.
Being on The Real Housewives of New Jersey is one thing. That would potentially be impressive in itself. However, Tre’s reputation on the show took a nosedive after Season 13. Teresa almost singlehandedly divided the cast down the middle. So, what did Dave have to say about the OG?
Bautista says Teresa was “aggressive” towards him
While on WWHL, Dave and the audience saw an old photo he’d taken with Teresa. “Here you are with New Jersey Housewife Teresa Giudice,” Andy Cohen said, all too enthusiastic to remind him of the moment. “I remember that,” Dave said. “She was very abrasive.” Andy, the audience, and fellow guest Ken Jeong all laughed out loud.
Andy, with an intense amount of enthusiasm, pointed out, “That’s from a wrestler! This is a wrestler saying this!” Dave just laughed politely. Andy then asked what he meant by abrasive. “Just relentless?” he asked. Dave answered, “You know, just, ‘Urgh!’ Just like, aggressive.” He made a grabbing motion while saying so.
Dave Bautista may seem like an abrasive guy, what with his wrestling past and movie roles. But most reports describe him as rather quiet and reserved in person. Teresa on the other hand? Hard to imagine she’s a different person in real life than she is on camera. Frankly, “abrasive” might be putting it gently.
