Luis Ruelas Called Margaret Josephs a ‘Skank’ in Unaired RHONJ Scene

Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas took on a war against Margaret Josephs on Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14. Unfortunately, having Luis Ruelas on your side does more harm than good in any conflict.

Granted, Margaret isn’t exactly a saint. But fans have been skeptical of Luis from the moment he stepped in front of the cameras. His mere presence on the show arguably snowballed into the conflict that so heavily divided the cast.

So, it wasn’t a good look for Luis to call Margaret a “skank.” Luis’ reputation was already thin. However, lucky for Luis, some viewers may have missed his remark entirely thanks to an odd discrepancy on Bravo’s part.

How do fans know that Luis called Margaret a skank?

In last week’s preview for Real Housewives of New Jersey Episode 12, fans heard a rather striking remark. As Tre and Luis spoke with the latter’s father, Teresa described Marge as “This woman I thought was my friend.” Meanwhile, Luis just smiled and muttered, “She’s a skank.” However, despite being in the preview, the clip ended up missing in Episode 12.

That would seem like a pretty significant oversight on Bravo’s part. The network’s editors are some of the best in the business. Housewives seasons spend months in postproduction, in large part to make sure the edit is just right. So, a mistake like this almost makes a viewer wonder if there were some last-minute changes.

Granted, no one can say for sure that Bravo tries to protect anyone’s reputation. Some cast members get an obvious villain edit from time to time, with varying levels of satisfaction. In Margaret’s case, she shared her belief that the finale would vindicate her. In Teresa and Luis’ case? Well, that’s yet to be seen. But the two might be sweating regardless of the edit.

Real Housewives of New Jersey continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
