The crossover between Love Island USA and Vanderpump Rules continues! In a surprise pairing, VPR star Katie Maloney was seen out to dinner with Love Island star Connor Newsum. One has to wonder how the two got together. Did they meet organically, or were they introduced to each other by Love Island USA host and VPR star Ariana Madix? There are a lot of unknowns at the moment, however there is still some tea to spill about their outing.
Katie “looked amazing” while out to dinner with Connor
The Pump Rules crew typically keeps their dating life within their circle. After Katie divorced Tom Schwartz, her one rule for him was not to date inside their friend group. Tom promptly ignored this request and made out with Rachel Leviss. Katie then got her revenge by sleeping with Tom’s bestie, Max Boyens. She also went toe to toe against Schwartz last season when they both dated Scheana Shay’s friend Tori Keeth.
While Katie might have kept her dates in the friend group before, this time she has expanded outside her circle. And US Weekly has the details. Their source saw Katie and Connor at Laurel Tavern restaurant, which is located in Studio City. Does Connor live in the valley like Katie does too?
It was also shared the duo were alone at their table located in the corner. Their source added that Katie “looked amazing” during their casual outing. And there is no doubt about that as Katie has been positively glowing since her divorce. One has to wonder if Connor spilled the tea to Katie about his time on the show. We know that Katie definitely has her opinions on the cast.
Connor had made some connections during his season, but ultimately got the boot. If things work out between him and Katie, there’s no doubt he’d be a good fit to join her on VPR. Or if the two get serious, perhaps they join The Valley for Season 3? Either way, it will be fun to watch what’s next for this potential reality TV couple.
