John Janssen is claiming that he has finally found true love with Alexis Bellino, for the first time in his life.
During an interview with Carlos King on his Reality with The King podcast, the Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed just how different his relationship with Alexis has been compared to his past romances.
“I tell her she’s perfect all the time, and she is perfect for me,” he said of Alexis. “She is confident. She is … absolutely as beautiful on the inside as on the outside, and she brings out the best in me.”
Alexis is John’s “true partner in life”
“I’ve never ever felt truly loved until Alexis, and I’ve never felt more loved,” John clarified, adding that Alexis has become his “true partner in life.”
“I don’t keep anything from her,” he said. “We are a 100% open book. We communicate better than I’ve ever communicated. She’s funny as hell, [and] we laugh all the time. She is an incredible person.”
John went so far as to describe Alexis as “the best mother on the face of the Earth,” offending every other mother everywhere. He praised the way she raised her three children: Mackenna, Melania, and James.
“I love them all,” he gushed.
In December 2023, news first broke that the unlikely couple were dating after meeting at the Quiet Woman in Corona Del Mar. Part of the surprise was that John had only recently ended things with his previous girlfriend, Shannon Beador.
Ironically, Alexis’ ex-husband, Jim Bellino, had sued Shannon and Tamra Judge in 2018 for defamation. Alexis swears she had nothing to do with the suit and was separated from her ex at the time. Still, it added salt to Shannon’s wounds.
Prior to their final breakup, fans watched Shannon and John’s tumultuous romance play out for three and a half years. John’s first attempt at ending their relationship in late 2022 left Shannon feeling “blindsided.” They got back together, but ended things for good in September 2023, following Shannon’s DUI/hit-and-run arrest.
Since finding love with John, Alexis also came back to her old stomping grounds on RHOC. Fans have already seen Shannon and Alexis fight over the insurance exec. Alexis screamed, “There’s the door, Shannon Beador,” as Shannon “thanked” her for stealing her ex. But Alexis didn’t steal anything, John left on his own.
