Dorinda Medley Backs RHONJ Reboot After Shocking Finale: ‘No One Needs To See That Anymore’

Dorinda Medley couldn’t help but touch on the Real Housewives of New Jersey discourse. And understandably so; since the finale, RHONJ is the talk of the Bravo community, but not in a good way.

For all the hype it tried to build, the RHONJ Season 14 finale went out with a whimper. Low viewership meant that, no matter what happened, the entire season fell flat. Ironically, it all seemed rather counter-intuitive.

The vitriol among the women was hotter than ever, which, in theory, should have led to compelling drama. But most fans thought everything just went too far. Dorinda couldn’t help but feel the same.

Dorinda says the RHONJ cast should “go to their corners”

On SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Dorinda and Caroline Stanbury took a call from a New Jersey fan. The caller said he’d been watching old-school RHONJ, adding, “That’s some crazy stuff, you know what I mean?” That prompted Dorinda and Stanbury to touch on the recent finale. “It was a lot,” Dorinda said, with Caroline repeating the sentiment.

Dorinda continued, “I’m really of the belief that it’s time for everybody to go to their corners.” She suggested the cast had essentially lost their filming privileges. “No one needs to see that anymore. There’s nothing else. You know, if you can’t come to a resolution, a bit of a resolution at the finale, where can you go with it?”

Such sentiments are not exclusive to Dorinda. Many viewers wonder where the show could possibly go from here. Dorinda further said, “And this is the second time around. So last year at the reunion, they didn’t come to a resolution and now they couldn’t do it this year. So I think it’s gonna be good for them to take a minute.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 concludes on Sunday, August 11, at 8/7c on Bravo.
