Too Hot to Handle returned for their 6th season on Netflix with some new twists and turns. Too Hot to Handle Season 6: Charlie breaks down the workshop that drew him closer to Katherine
Charlie connected early in the show with Lucy, but their relationship fizzled over time. During one of the show workshops, the cast members were forced to look into a mirror and open up. Charlie was paired with Katherine and talked to Reality Tea about how this challenge ultimately sparked their relationship.
“I felt like I was opening up to myself, which is really hard to do. And to drop that mirror and be faced with her after she’s done the same, we both have this true look in our eyes. And that’s why she said I feel like I’m staring into your soul. In that moment, I saw a completely different side of Kat and found it attractive.”
This not only jumpstarted Charlie and Katherine’s relationship, but Charlie told Reality Tea that he is planning to release a song titled “Here Eyes,” which is set to release on August 16, 2024.
Are Too Hot to Handle’s Charlie Jeer and Katherine LaPrell still together?
Charlie and Katherine were tested quite a bit after they started seeing each other on the show. One of the burning questions is whether or not Catherine (Charlie’s nickname for the couple) is still together. Charlie gave Reality Tea an update.
“Chatherine is going strong. Also, let me tell you, Katherine hates the name Chatherine, and is trying to change it to Kharlie instead.” With the couple living cross country, Charlie said the pair had seen each other since the show ended. “I’ve been over to see her twice, and she’s been over here to me, and he was heading back to America later this week.”
Obviously, heading into Too Hot to Handle, Cheeky Charlie didn’t expect to fall for someone, let alone end up in a relationship. “I wasn’t expecting anything like this, but it’s really precious. I’m just really grateful for her and our relationship. When we left the show, I got to know her away from the cameras, and she’s a very special girl.”
Charlie Jeer talked about his evolution on the show and what’s next
“You know, when they did that final workshop, and we all picked our words, mine was awakening. I came into this with a very closed mind about being in a relationship,” Charlie told Reality Tea.
“Part of that was my ego, thinking nobody could hold me down. But meeting someone who felt like a match for me helped. Katherine ultimately is a big part of my evolution of change because there is so much growth in being in a relationship.
Fresh off his appearance on Too Hot to Handle, Charlie plans to try to be back on our TVs. “I would be down for more TV opportunities,” Charlie teased. Charlie, a musician for over 10 years, also plans to continue pushing his music.
“I’ve got my first song coming out August 16th called “Her Eyes, it’s going to be awesome.” As for Chaterine (my preferred nickname), “I definitely want to continue my relationship with Kat. She’s such a special girl, and I am really grateful for her.”
