Matt Rogers Tells Andy Cohen How He’d Fix RHONJ Cast

Matt Rogers recently stopped by the Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse to chat with Andy Cohen. This hysterical writer/podcaster had several things to say. But when it came time to dish about the future of the Real Housewives of New Jersey series, Matt’s thoughts were firm. Matt’s way forward is clear, but will Andy and the RHONJ producers agree?

This is how Matt would fix the RHONJ series

Matt is the perfect WWHL guest. He’s candid and shady, which we love. When Andy began asking him questions about the RHONJ Season 14 Reunion Watch Party, Matt’s reads likely landed well with many viewers. As for the others, he’s toast.

First, Andy inquired which room Matt would have chosen at Rails. Matt joked, “I don’t know why you ask silly questions. What am I going to do? Be in Teresa [Guidice] and Jenn’s [Aydin] room and listen to Jenn talk like a seventh grader for 45 minutes?”

Next, Andy asked for Matt’s reactions after Dolores [Catania] grabbed her lady balls, telling Teresa that Luis Ruelas was in the wrong. “Teresa has a very dark, toxic, weird husband, and so as long as she’s on the show, her storylines are going to be very dark and weird and toxic,” Matt answered.

Matt also thinks Dolores would be better off with different besties. As Matt saw, “Dolores lit up when she went into that room with Marge and Rachel [Fuda] and Melissa [Gorga]. Her shoulders dropped. She seemed so much more comfortable.”

Due to this, Matt stressed, “That’s the cast, by the way. 100%.” Wanting additional thoughts, Andy then asked Matt about the future of RHONJ, and after asking Andy to hear him out, Matt dove in with his fix.

“You have a great cast. It’s just that Teresa and Jenn and Jackie [Goldschneider] now are stopping it from being fun,” he expressed. Matt thinks the other room keeps things “fun and cool,” so they alone should stay.

Interesting. What say you, Bravo?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey series is now streaming on Peacock.
