Ariana Madix showcases that time could possibly heal some wounds. Not all, of course (i.e. Tom Sandoval) but some. She shared that she has been in touch with Scheana Shay “here and there” after the intense Vanderpump Rules Reunion.
In case you missed it, the reunion and season 11 in general were tense and rocky thanks, in no small part, to Tom (again!). Ariana clashed with Scheana over her reluctance to look past Scandoval and try to forgive Tom.
Ariana was having none of it and was just not ready to forgive Tom and be around him. This was at odds with those on VPR, like Scheana, who were more open to giving him a chance.
That all boiled over during the reunion and left the girls unsure of their relationship’s future.
There’s still love between Ariana Madix and Scheana Shay
According to Ariana though, there is still love there. In a recent interview with Andy Cohen, the host and producer asked Ariana who she has been in touch with since the reunion. When asked if was in touch with Tom Schwartz, she said no.
Andy then asked her if she had been in touch with Scheana.
“Yes, here and there,” she replied casually. He then followed it up with a question about whether or not their friendship took a big hit after the reunion.
Ariana was candid when she replied, “Yes.” Her answer was not surprising. Everyone saw what happened between them. However, Ariana quickly added that there was still love between them, hinting that their friendship would weather this storm.
“There is a lot of love there,” she clarified. “And I think it will always be there.” She even added that was proud of Scheana for her recent recognition.
She was very gracious about it and proved that her and Scheana’s friendship could survive the rough patches given time and space.
