Big Brother 26 is in full swing and we have our eyes peeled for a potential new G.O.A.T. There have been so many great BB players over the years but not every player has gotten their flowers from fans. Some have gone overlooked by the fanbase.

Here are the most underrated Big Brother players of all time:

Erika Landin – Big Brother 4 and Big Brother 7

BB fans were first introduced to Erika Landin in Big Brother 4. The 33-year-old was one of the unlucky few impacted by the “exes twist.” Her ex, Robert Roman, entered the house shortly after her, wreaking havoc on her game. Despite the setback, she persevered. She developed a strong social game and managed to get to the final four despite only winning one competition. She later returned to the BB house for Big Brother 7: All-Stars where she made it to the final two. Unfortunately, Mike “Boogie” Malin won over the jury in the end.

Erika’s game is often overlooked. In BB4 and BB7, she was called “a floater” and accused of sucking up to whoever was in power. In my opinion, being a floater is a legitimate game strategy. It’s a strategy that worked quite well for her in two seasons. She knew the right people to talk to and who to win over to advance in the game. That’s impressive. In addition to dealing with floater comments, she also dealt with a lot of misogyny in both of her seasons. Some people may have crumbled in that situation but she kept her chin up and tuned out the noise. I think she deserves more respect. She’s a great player.

Joseph Abdin – Big Brother 24

If you watched the Big Brother Live Feeds, you know Joseph Abdin spent every minute of his summer talking gameplay. The episodes didn’t reflect the amount of work he did behind the scenes. As a result of his edit, many casual viewers don’t recognize him as a Big Brother great. He was instrumental in forming the Leftovers and had so much more pull in the house than the show reflected. I hope he has the chance to play again. I loved watching him buzz around the house on the Live Feeds.

Jessica Milagros – Big Brother 21

Jessica “Jess” Milagros is rarely mentioned in conversations about great Big Brother players, which I think is a real shame. She was the only player on BB21 bold enough to take a swing at Jackson Michie and Jack Matthews during her HOH win. She was able to secure the Veto during her reign and keep her intended targets on the block. Jess knew she was on the outside of a majority alliance and used her power to break up the strongest duo rather than allowing them to keep controlling the game. Props to her!

Frankie Grande – Big Brother 16 and Reindeer Games

When people talk about Big Brother 16, they usually think of Derek Levasseur and Cody Calafiore but my favorite player is Frankie Grande. He was a comp beast, involved in a majority alliance, and was able to avoid elimination when his name was on the chopping block. Sure, he was a little messy but that’s what made it fun.

Helen Kim – Big Brother 15

Big Brother 15 is a season shrouded in controversy and as a result, players from that season often get overlooked. One of those players is Helen Kim. She was smart, savvy, and knew how to play the game. She was subjected to racist comments at the start of the game but she paid them no mind, which is not an easy thing to do.

Andy Herren – Big Brother 15

Similar to Helen, Andy Herren is a Big Brother winner who often gets dismissed because of his controversial season. He played a great game and was a very deserving winner. His social game was incredible. Towards the end, pretty much everyone in the game considered him their “number one ally.” He was able to protect himself by subtly throwing other players into the line of fire. Put some respect on his name!
