When Luann de Lesseps launched her cabaret career on Real Housewives of New York, few expected her to be so successful. She has released nine singles, including the bop Money Can’t Buy You Class. After departing RHONY amid its reboot, she starred with Sonja Morgan on the spinoff Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake. And now Luann can count Academy Award-winning actress Tilda Swinton among her friends, thanks to her cabaret show.

Of course, Luann is always booked and busy. She is starring on a new dating show on Peacock featuring some of our favorite unlucky-in-love Real Housewives. But Luann’s first love is cabaret and performing.
“When I was in London, I heard that Tilda Swinton was coming to my show, and she did come,” Luann told host Scheana Shay on her Scheananigans podcast. “And she said to me, ‘Darling, you do spread so much joy but you know, you need to rest now, darling. You’re doing six shows in a row. I have a humble abode in Scotland,'” Luann said in her best Tilda impression. ‘”I would love for you to come for a visit. I’m going to cook for you and take care of you.'”
Luann continued, “I said, ‘You know, I’ve never been to Scotland, Tilda. You know, I would love to come.’ So I took her up on that.” She added, “Well, we get there, it’s a 300-acre property with a castle. And she takes care of me.” That sounds delightful!

Of course, Tilda was up to speed with all the RHONY alums. She asked about Sonja and how she was doing. Luann said, “Then I told her Dorinda [Medley] was in Scotland doing [The] Traitors. She’s like, ‘Oh, let’s do call her up.’ So, I called Dorinda and of course, she doesn’t answer because her phone had been confiscated. And I’m like, ‘D! Call me! I’m with Tilda Swinton!’” she said.
Naturally, the former countess has rubbed elbows with high society. “You know, the family comes from 800. Not 1800. 800!” Luann stated. “So, she’s a real aristocrat from Scotland.” It sounds like Luann will be packing her tartan skirt for a return visit.
