The word “loyalty” gets thrown around a lot on Real Housewives. For a series that is simply based on the concept of friendship, it can be downright cutthroat. Alliances are formed almost as much as a reality competition series with money on the line.
The cast of Real Housewives of Dubai is no exception. Their sophomore season has featured Sara Al Madani and her seemingly unwavering loyalty to castmate Caroline Brooks.
After a fallout between Brooks and Caroline Stanbury, Sara firmly sided with Brooks, even when Brooks acted out of pocket. So what’s behind Sara’s ride-or-die attitude for her friend?

In a recent interview with OK!, Sara explained her support of Brooks. “When she’s your friend, she is so big on loyalty. But if you screw around with loyalty a little bit, she will eat you alive. That’s how she is. Because if she’s giving you loyalty and you’re not reciprocating it, so be it. That’s how it should be,” Sara shared.
“I don’t accept everything Brooks does because sometimes her behavior can be off a little bit,” the businesswoman added. “But I am the friend that’s going to tell her, ‘Listen, check yourself. This is wrong.’ But whatever Brooks was doing, it wasn’t coming out of nowhere.”
Because Sara has sided with Brooks, her relationship with Stanbury has suffered. But Sara is keeping the faith that they will get through it. “I still have a lot of hope for her because I shared food with her. I met her family; I met her kids. I love her kids. I still have some love for her. I feel like me and her can coexist, but I don’t think we’re ever going to be best friends again,” she says.
Despite Stanbury’s best efforts to bring Sara to her side, she wasn’t budging. “I keep telling Stanbury, ‘I know that everything Brooks does isn’t always right, but I know who Brooks is as a person. I’m not going to leave Brooks just because I’m friends with you and don’t even expect me to do that,'” Sara concluded.
