Gia Giudice on Her Financial Status: ‘I Really Am on My Own’

Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have watched Gia Giudice grow up before our eyes. Remember when, as a child, her mom Teresa Giudice would yell, “Fabulous!” for her to pose for a photo? We went from watching Gia get headshots as a child to watching her go to prom. But somewhere in between, she also coped with her mother being in prison. Then her dad, Joe Giudice, went to prison and was deported. But now that Gia is all grown up, she is sharing some financial details with all of us; some of which might surprise you…

Gia Giudice is financially independent, thank you very much

Gia has also snagged more time on RHONJ, even getting her own confessionals. While Teresa loves her daughter being part of the show, some co-stars have questioned why Gia is getting so involved in the drama.

Gia was a guest on the Trading Secrets podcast and discussed her financial situation with host Jason Tartick. “Financially, yeah, I really am on my own. And I think people don’t think I’m on my own,” Gia said.

“Interesting,” Jason replied. The Rutgers University graduate added, “People think I live off of  mommy and daddy’s money.”

Next, Jason asked what we all wanted to know. Has Gia saved up for a rainy day? “Up until this season, you’re on TV. Have you been able to stack some good money away from all this working experience? And has that financially changed your life?” Jason asked.

“Yeah. I definitely have been able to and I’m very grateful for that. I just recently leased myself a Porsche so that was a big girl purchase for me,” Gia stated. Jason exclaimed, “Let’s go!” Has anyone considered a more budget-friendly car? Asking for a friend.

“I still do live [at] home with my family, but financially I do cover everything myself. My dream car has always been a Porsche,” Gia explained. “So, I was like, ‘This is what I want to do,’ and I was able to do that.”

So, does Gia pay rent? And why lease such an extravagant car? Gia seems like a hard worker. I’m hoping that she inherited a budgeting gene from someone. Fingers crossed that she is better at managing her finances than her parents.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
