No, you’re not seeing double. Andy Cohen has been honored with a wax figure of himself at Madame Tussauds New York. Andy attended the unveiling at the Times Square attraction, accompanied by a few of his most devoted fans. He also borrowed the wax doppelganger to co-host his Bravo show, Watch What Happens Live.
If you’re a fan of the Clubhouse, you can now visit the duplicated set at Madame Tussauds. The display is interactive, and fans can sit side-by-side with Andy and imagine themselves as guests on his show.
The recreated set is complete with iconic props, such as a replica of the famous “shotski,” the rejected blue bunny that Lisa Rinna gave Kim Richards for her new grandson on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7, and other replicas of Clubhouse gifts and collectibles.
Andy Cohen can now die happy
“If I was at Madame Tussauds and a fan of Watch What Happens Live, I would lose my mind,” said Andy. “I feel like I can walk on 42nd street and croak, and it’ll all be good. I have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and now I’m in Madame Tussauds. I’m done.” Your two small children might have issues with that plan, Andy.
The wax figure captures every detail of Andy’s personality, from his twinkling smile to his signature stylish suit. To create his wax twin, Andy worked with a team of Studio Artists from Madame Tussauds. They took hundreds of measurements and photographs from every angle. They made every effort to capture his exact hair color, eye color, and skin tone. 20 studio artists took nine months to sculpt, paint, and individually insert each piece of hair. The results are perfect!
Andy is currently celebrating 15 years as host and executive producer of WWHL. He’s one of the creators and an executive producer of the Real Housewives franchise. He also has the Radio Andy channel on Sirius XM, where he hosts his daily radio show, Andy Cohen Live. In addition, since 2017 Andy has co-hosted CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live show with BFF Anderson Cooper.
A five-time New York Times best-selling author, Andy has received GLAAD’s Vito Russo Award, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The father of two was also included on The Hollywood Reporter and Variety’s lists of Most Powerful LGBTQ Players in Hollywood.
Congratulations, Andy!
Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs Sunday-Thursday on Bravo.
