The Love Island USA reunion airs on Peacock on Monday, August 19 at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Fans have been anxiously awaiting details about the upcoming event and trying to decipher which cast members are beefing based on their social media content.
One topic that we know will be discussed at the reunion is Aaron Evans and Kaylor Martin’s drama-filled relationship. The two connected on Day 1 in the Villa after sharing a steamy kiss in the first challenge. For a while, they were the strongest couple. Fans loved their playful dynamic and the two seemed genuinely happy together. Their connection was so strong that fans weren’t worried about Aaron going into Casa Amor. After leaving the Villa, Kaylor appeared on Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files, where she dished about the Casa Amor controversy. On the show, Kaylor seemed shocked when Aaron pursued another connection, but on The Viall Files, she revealed she had a feeling he would “move that way.”
“I knew, deep down, he was going to move that way,” she said. “I had a feeling since I know how lovey-dovey and how flirty he is.”
She shared that she and Aaron spoke about Casa before it happened and he told her she had “nothing to worry about.”
The Islander said that while she had her suspicions, she wanted to believe the man she was falling for.
“If you love someone, you don’t want to kiss another girl,” she said. “Whenever I love someone, I’m very loyal and very committed to them.”
Kaylor Martin Alluded to Being Single
Earlier this week, Kaylor posted a TikTok of her and fellow Islander Liv Walker having fun on a night out with suggestive audio playing in the background. She used audio of Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw saying, “If you are single, there is one thing you should always take with you when you go out on a Saturday night—your friends.” The audio led fans to believe that Kaylor was no longer seeing Aaron.

However, some fans pointed out that there have been recent sightings of the two in NYC together.

Kaylor Said She Wants to ‘Take a Step Back’
Earlier this month, Kaylor appeared with Aaron on the Barstool Sports podcast BFFs where the couple discussed their current relationship status. Kaylor revealed she finally watched the Casa Amor episodes and wants to “take a step back” from the romance.
“Now we are in the real world and I am seeing everything,” she said. “I have my support system at home, including my girlfriends [and] my family. I just want to take things really slow. I don’t want to end things because I know what Aaron and I had was true and real. But I feel like I just gave him chance after chance.
She said she was “hurt” by how little accountability Aaron took for his actions, telling the hosts she deserved the full truth from her man.
Kaylor Said She and Aaron Evans Are Not Together
Kaylor took a lot of heat from fans for forgiving Aaron after she saw clips of him getting cozy with Daniela in Casa Amor. Fans were disappointed that she continued seeing him after leaving the Villa.
In a newly surfaced TikTok clip, Kaylor told fans outside the Love Island USA reunion venue that she and Aaron are no more.
“Aaron and I are not okay,” she told fans. “We’re done. We’re not together.”
Fans in the comment section were divided in how they felt about the clip. Some fans were happy to hear the Blonde Beauty had separated from her Islander beau but others felt her words were misleading.
