Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been filming Season 14 all summer and Garcelle Beauvais seems to be having a good time.
Cast drama during production is usually what we end up hearing about in anticipation of a new season. I’m sure there is plenty of that too but Garcelle even went as far as to describe Season 14 as “fun.” How refreshing!
The season is about big changes, according to Garcelle Beauvais
In a recent interview with Extra, Garcelle shared what fans can expect from the upcoming season. “A lot of the women are going through really big life changes and, of course, that affects how they deal with us and the group. It’s gonna be fun. Some friendships have shifted. It’s gonna be really good. I’m optimistic about this season,” she revealed.
When it comes to new housewives, the ladies aren’t always the most welcoming. But Garcelle was quick to praise her new castmate Bozoma Saint John. Boz’s background is both interesting and impressive – she was an executive at Netflix and she has worked at PepsiCo and Apple.
Garcelle gushed, “Boz takes no prisoners. She comes in, she knows who she is. It’s really cool, especially for me to have another woman of color on the show that just gels and fits in, it’s awesome.”
But what would any housewife interview be without addressing a few major plot points?
Fans were not exactly surprised when Dorit Kemsley and PK Bubba Kemsley announced their separation. Rumors had been abound for years. Dorit hasn’t said much about the split since it was announced but how it plays out with be featured on the upcoming season.
Despite their past issues, Garcelle and Dorit seem to be in a good place. Garcelle shared, “We just finished shooting, so of course we’ve been in touch. It’s hard, I mean, listen, I’ve been through a divorce with little kids — it’s not fun. I hope they can get to a place where they put the kids first.”
