We all saw this coming, right? Love Island USA star Kendall Washington has officially called it quits from Nicole Jacky. The news comes after their heated exchange during the Season 6 reunion about Kendall’s leaked NSFW video.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have Ariana Madix and a camera crew when Kendall dumped Nicole. However, we’ve still got all of the details about how it went down.
Kendall Washington pulled the plug on his relationship with Nicole Jacky
After the Love Island USA Season 6 reunion, Nicole got a ton of backlash for how she handled the situation with Kendall’s leaked video. Rather than talking about it privately or showing any semblance of empathy, Nicole went off on Kendall for putting her in the situation and allegedly lying bout the origin of the video.
“This just puts me in such a f–ked position because I cared about you too and I love you and people are questioning that,” Nicole told Kendall during the reunion. “Even though you let the world think we’re not together, we’re still together.”
Fast forward 48 hours, and Kendall posted to his Instagram Story that he and Nicole had broken up. Apparently, he needed a little time to process the drama from the reunion before making any moves.
“I have decided to end things with Nicole. It reached a point where it was not healthy for us to continue the relationship,” Kendall announced via Instagram Stories.
“I still love and care for Nicole,” he claimed. “I’ve never developed such strong feelings for a woman in my life. I have no regrets for the connection I made with her in the villa and it was real.”
In his statement, Kendall also encouraged Love Island fans to stop sending negative comments and DMs. Both he and Nicole have dealt with enough this summer and are trying to focus on healing.

Meanwhile, Nicole’s reaction to the breakup seemed a little saltier. In her Instagram Story, she acted like she was completely caught off guard by Kendall breaking up with her. To make matters worse, he didn’t even do it in person. This all happened over a phone call.
“On August 18th, Kendall and I agreed our relationship was worth working on, and we were making plans for me to visit him in Dallas soon. However, today, on August 20th, he called and ended things,” Nicole wrote.
According to Nicole, she still has love for Kendall. Despite the messiness of their situation and the attitude she had at the reunion, she wanted to make things work.
“I’m struggling mentally and all I ask for is privacy during this time,” Nicole concluded.
