The newest snowflake holder on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is already coming in hot. Bronwyn Newport is set to make her debut in Season 5, and she just took a shot at OG Heather Gay for some shady comments she heard in the trailer. In case you had any doubts that this lady was built for the Housewives, she’s coming through with an icy reminder.
Bronwyn Newport is throwing back some shade
Not only does the name “Bronwyn Newport” sound like a name straight out of a soap opera, but she’s also bringing the dramatics less than 24 hours after debuting in the Season 5 trailer.
The RHOSLC newbie is entering the show via Lisa Barlow. In the trailer, you hear the Vida Tequila founder hyping her friend up. She said, “Bronwyn is everything you could want in a friend. She’s funny, she’s witty, she’s got the best wardrobe.”
Meanwhile, Heather had a different opinion on the newbie. She made it clear that she wasn’t a fan of Bronwyn and had suspicions about her character.
“Bronwyn is not here to make friends, and I don’t trust her,” Heather commented.
After being entangled with a felon and a professional troll, it’s understandable why Heather might be a little hesitant about a new friend. But Heather isn’t exactly the anchor of truth. However, Bronwyn didn’t take kindly to the shade and sounded off on Heather via her Instagram Stories.
Bronwyn wrote, “Yes, I always am [here to make friends]. But I go hard (especially with my looks) that can be for you OR against you, your choice…”
Shots fired! Clearly, Bronwyn is just as bold as her outfits if she’s going after a (former?) fan-favorite like Heather. Honestly, we can’t wait to see how this turns out.
