If you felt a little misty-eyed watching Tim Walz’s son, Gus Walz cheer on his dad during the Democratic National Convention, you’re not alone. Even Real Housewives tuned in and caught all of the feels. Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan took to her social media and shared some words of support for the 17-year-old. After being thrust into the global spotlight, he can rest easy knowing that he has a Real Housewife (and thousands of new protectors) in his corner.
Auntie Claudia is reporting for duty
Gus’s reaction to his father’s speech during the DNC went mega-viral for all of the right reasons. As Tim spoke to an arena full of eager voters, he gave a heartwarming shoutout to his family.
“Hope, Gus, and Gwen. You are my entire world and I love you,” Tim said.
Meanwhile, Gus looked on from the crowd in awe. With tears in his eyes, he said, “That’s my dad!”
At that moment, everyone’s hearts melted, unless you don’t have a heart. If that’s the case, you should just sit this one out. Claudia, however, felt touched and shared a sweet message letting Gus know how many people were moved by the moment.
“I am loving seeing all the love and support the GOOD people are showing for Gus Walz,” Claudia wrote. “He just gained millions of fierce AUNTIES and millions of big brothers and not nare one of us are playing about our adopted nephew/baby brother GUS. F around and find out if you want to!!!!”
Of course, Claudia wasn’t the only Bravolebrity engaging with the DNC. Dr. Wendy Osefo from Real Housewives of Potomac attended Day 2 of the DNC. She got to witness firsthand a couple of fiery speeches from former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.
