The Season 14 Real Housewives of New Jersey finale wrap-up featured the cast returning to The Rails. The ladies watched the finale in two separate rooms as they commented in real-time. Dolores Catania spent the bulk of her time in a room with Teresa Giudice, Jennifer Aydin, and Jackie Goldschneider. But there was one moment during the special that Dolores couldn’t bear to watch.
What moment from the RHONJ Rails special did Dolores Catania skip watching?
Recently, Dolores was a guest on Jason Tartick’s podcast, Trading Secrets. And the Switzerland of the group shared which scene she couldn’t stand to watch again. It was the moment when she disagreed with Teresa about the remarks that her husband, Luis Ruelas, made about Margaret Josephs’ son.
“I hope Margaret and her family suffer. I hope her son suffers, the way I suffered,” Luis told Teresa. After that clip played, Dolores immediately confronted Teresa. “Louie’s going to get a lot of [expletive] for that, Teresa. For what he said about the son,” Dolores said. Of course, Teresa defended Luis and claimed that her family suffered because of Margaret.
“That’s wrong. If I could stand here and back him up all the time, as I do, I cannot not say that that was wrong,” Dolores stated. She further added, “That’s wrong.” Additionally, Teresa told Dolores not to side with Margaret.
“I’m [expletive] telling you if I can stand behind Louie and every [expletive] thing that’s said about him a million times over, even when it comes to my own son, I can say, and I have to say for my own self, [that was wrong],” Dolores shouted. Finally, Teresa said she would have Luis apologize, and he did.
As you may recall, at the Season 13 RHONJ reunion, host Andy Cohen brought up how Dolores’ son Frankie Catania had been employed by Luis. “Luis gave my son a job. He was very happy working with him. And I’m very thankful for Luis,” Dolores stated. “I don’t know what this rumor is, and I don’t want to talk about Frankie at all.” It also seemed as if Dolores’ ex-husband Frank Catania had some dirt about what happened with Frankie’s job.

Anyway, Jason asked Dolores how she felt watching the scene with Teresa. “I don’t want to watch it back because I knew when I did it, I’m like ‘Ah, this is going to be a thing.’ But you know, you have to when you’re a real friend you also … You know, it was kind of a visceral reaction but again it’s for two reasons,” Dolores explained. “Number one, he’s going to get flack for that. And number two it shouldn’t have been said. But you know he’s going to get hit for that,” she said. The RHONJ star added, “I was upset for what was said.”
