Gina Kirschenheiter has been in the middle of all of the drama on Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18. She’s even feuding with her long-time bestie Emily Simpson, so it’s been a rough road for Gina. Her biggest fish to fry is an opponent no one wants against them – Heather Dubrow. Gina is fighting a losing battle.
Gina is in the middle of the continuing paparazzi drama on RHOC. Newbie Katie Ginella brought up the rumors that Heather calls the paps on herself. Even though Gina warned Katie not to bring it to light, she’s somehow the target of Heather’s ire. As the storyline continues to play out on the show, Gina is gearing up for a bit of a reunion showdown with Mrs. Dubrow.
Gina Kirschenheiter feels let down by Heather Dubrow
Gina spoke to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast about RHOC Season 18 and her drama with Heather. She admitted that watching the show play out, she’s getting upset in real time because she felt like she really had Heather’s back throughout the situation. “Honestly, since last year, I’m the only one who believes her — who consistently believes her, and yet I’m still the one who did something wrong,” Gina said about the paparazzi gate.
Despite her frustration, Gina claims she and Heather are fine in real time, but she feels their friendship is one-sided. “Watching between last week and this week’s episode and seeing how it’s all played out, I am upset about it,” Gina continued. “It’s tough. It’s interesting too because we have [the] reunion coming up. We still have to have all these conversations, so it’s like, ‘Do I have these conversations now? Do we have them there?’”
She understands that the situation with Heather is bound to be hashed out at the reunion. However, she hopes reconciliation is in their future. “I like to have these constructive conversations, so hopefully we can have that,” she said. “But Heather’s very sensitive, so I feel like I operate around that sensitivity a lot. At a certain point, it just gets to be too much.” All we know is that the remainder of RHOC Season 18 sounds like it’ll be just as juicy as the first half.
