Viewers of the Real Housewives of Orange County first met Tamra Judge when she joined the franchise in Season 3. At that time, the blonde was married to Simon Barney. The duo were like oil and water, not meshing over the simplest of things. It didn’t help that Tamra’s oldest son, Ryan Vieth, butted heads with Simon often. The duo tied the knot in 1998. Fans watched as the couple’s marriage fell apart on screen, leading to a pretty nasty divorce in 2011.

Tammy Sue blurted out that she wanted to end her marriage during a very uncomfortable limo ride during the season finale. Tamra eventually found love again with Eddie Judge. She still wasn’t out of the shadows of her first marriage for years.

Simon and Tamra’s 2011 divorce settlement has finally been revealed via In Touch. Tammy Sue, who is known for her loud opinions, agreed that she wouldn’t disparage her ex on the Real Housewives of Orange County. The 56-year-old housewife and Simon signed the agreement back on October 12, 2011. But the details have just started to emerge. As fans will recall, Simon was the first to file for divorce on August 5, 2010. At the time, he accused her of being “verbally abusive” and committing acts of “disloyalty.”

The OC star denied those allegations. At the time, she wrote on her social media, “Thank you to everyone who understands and supports me. For the record, all accusations are false.” Simon and Tamra share three children: Sidney, Spencer, and Sophia. Sadly, Tamra doesn’t have a close relationship with Sidney due to the divorce. The settlement also noted that they would share joint legal and physical custody, with neither paying child support to the other.

The court documents read that “The parties shall not make any disparaging, suggestive, negative, or derogatory remarks about the other in any public arena, including, but not limited to, any production on television, including Bravo and any other network or cable television show, publications, or internet sites, including blogs, Facebook, and Twitter.”

The documents read, “The parties shall each be responsible for the needs of the minor children during their respective period of physical custody. The court reserves jurisdiction to make an order for guideline child support at any time.” Even though neither would pay child support, Simon agreed to pay for health and dental for all three children. The former couple also agreed to “waive now and forever, any and all rights to spousal support and/or maintenance, both temporary and permanent, and further do hereby release the other from any and all claims past, present and future for spousal support and/or maintenance.”

The settlement revealed that Simon was awarded all furniture, jewelry, clothing, and personal effects in his possession at the time of the split. The father of three also was allowed to keep all the earnings he received after the date of separation. The businessman also walked away with his 2022 Harley Davidson and a 1987 Ferrari. As for Tamra, she kept her furniture, jewelry, clothing, all income she made after the separation, paychecks from RHOC, and two bank accounts.

Simon did agree to pay off multiple credit cards that the couple shared. The documents showed that Tamra agreed to pay off her Nordstrom, Target, and Sears credit cards, along with numerous other bank accounts. In addition to those outstanding debts, Tamra also agreed to pay off the couple’s 2008 and 2009 taxes.

Even though Simon and Tamra may have had a toxic relationship during the early years of the Real Housewives of Orange County, they seem to be working well as co-parents. In 2020, Simon was diagnosed with Stage 3 throat cancer, and all animosity went out the window. At the time, Tamra noted they were “rallying together as a family to get through this.” Tamra and Simon’s settlement seems fair for both parties, which can’t always be said, especially when you live in Orange County.
