With another season of the Real Housewives of New York about to premiere, fans are actually excited to see the new faces back on the small screen. The drama, compared to the OGs, was new and piqued viewers’ interest right off the bat. But perhaps the best addition to the cast was Brynn Whitfield. The redhead was the epitome of New York City. So, it made sense that she was compared to the fictional character Carrie Bradshaw. Every woman wanted to be her, and every man wanted to date her. So, as Brynn sits high on her pedestal, I would wager that she will be perched safely at the top for some time as she continues to be a fan favorite.
Brynn Whitfield lives a life most can only dream of
There is something about Brynn. I’m not sure if it’s her close resemblance to Meghan Markle, her stunning fashion sense, or her perfect hair, but she is everything I want to be when I grow up. Even though she might have been putting on the “I’m a dumb girl act” for her freshman seasons, Brynn is quite accomplished. Viewers learned she was a book collector and chess player. These are two hobbies that wouldn’t have been on my list exactly when it came to Brynn.
Brynn is the girl next door. She is beauty. She is grace (she could be Miss United States). I think her kindness adds to the allure of the New Yorker. She always seems to find a way to have a smile on her face. Even when she opened up about her parents at Brynnsgiving, she tried to put a positive spin on her childhood. She somehow made the move to the Big Apple and designed a life that is one from a fairytale. She is out to swanky parties and rubbing elbows with celebrities. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind taking a master class from this woman. Brynn is the new Dorinda Medley for me, and I find myself always rooting for her.
Brynn Whitfield is looking for love
Even though a plethora of Bravolebs have slid into her DMs, like Austen Kroll and Shep Rose, Brynn isn’t interested in shrimp when she can have lobster. Living in New York City affords her a bigger pond to fish from when it comes to men. We’ve learned from her Watch What Happens Live appearance that Brynn wants a book-smart man, a good cook, and someone ready to spend his money. While the rest of us can only dream about this man, for Brynn, it’s her reality. Last season showed Brynn meeting back up with an ex-fiance, but according to her, she wasn’t looking to date him.
Real Housewives of New York fans are behind her all the way when it comes to finding Mr. Right. In the city of Mr. Bigs, we really need to find this girl, Aiden. Season 15 will finally give a peek into Brynn’s dating life, as she has also hinted she might already be dating someone. I bet she is spoiled from morning to night with her luck. Personally, I can’t wait to see who the mystery man might be.

I’m always going to root for my girl, especially when she is being made the butt of jokes or nasty rumors. So it wasn’t nice to see some of the women accuse Brynn of doing sexual favors to land a job. During the fight with Ubah Hasson, Brynn is seen asking, “I sucked a d*ck to get a job?” Even if the insult was a low blow (no pun intended), why would any woman sink to such lows about another woman?
I can’t imagine I’m the only RHONY fan who was not thrilled to hear this type of accusation in 2024. The whole conversation felt sexist. Even though Brynn often jokingly refers to herself as a “trophy wife in training,” no woman should ever be accused of trying to further herself in such a way. Brynn is quite accomplished as she is a corporate communications and marketing consultant. She also graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in communications-public relations and advertising.
No matter what Season 15 brings, Brynn still has many fan’s hearts. I can’t imagine she will do anything that bad to be knocked down a few pegs. But we will have to tune in to see.
