The hot new bombshells have entered the villa reunion stage! Yes, the highly anticipated Love Island USA Season 6 reunion finally aired! This season’s unprecedented popularity means that more eyes are on this year’s cast than ever. When they showed up at the reunion, a giant crowd of fans and paparazzi was there to greet them.
Surprising no one, Love Island USA’s host Ariana Madix looked amazing in a red-hot dress. But we’ve heavily covered Ariana’s incredible outfits elsewhere. Now, it’s the Islanders’ chance to shine. With so many cast members, we couldn’t cover every look, but some standouts did their “big one.”
Everyone in this cast is, to quote Derek Zoolander, really, really, ridiculously good-looking. So none of them can look bad. But much like the attempts to find love, some of them had better luck with fashion than others. Read on below to see which outfits we’d like to couple up with, and which ones we’d dump from the island.
Best Reunion Looks: PPG
The Season 6 breakout stars had some of the most talked-about fashions all season. Naturally, they also stood out at the reunion.
JaNa Craig’s rocked a steady stream of big-name designers in her recent media appearances. For the reunion, she chose a Rick Owens creation that makes her look like a Grecian goddess. And her makeup is amazing! I’m sure her boyfriend Kenny repeated his famous “I want you…I NEED you” quote when he saw her.
Serena Page was low-key the most stylish girl in the villa, and she didn’t disappoint at the reunion. JaNa described Serena’s look as “it’s giving rich,” and I completely agree. Especially since the dress is vintage Roberto Cavalli, a legendary brand she also wore in the villa. The shorter hairstyle looks amazing on her too.
Leah Kateb also wore vintage, as she often did in the villa. Her enviable wardrobe showcases the best of the early aughts, and this dress is no exception. The touch of leopard print is perfectly Leah.
Worst Reunion Looks: Rob Rausch
Well, at least he didn’t wear the overalls again. Honestly, most of the guys wore nice but unmemorable suits or took risks that didn’t pay off. But Rob Rausch…is he allergic to effort? And why the hat?
I can’t explain it, but this feels like a costume more than anything. When they posed for photos, the juxtaposition between him and best friend Aaron Evans (whose outfit will show up later on this list) was honestly comical.
Maybe Rob is still figuring out his style. After all, he wore an outfit borrowed from Kordell Beckham to a post-reunion panel. But there had to be a better outfit option than this.
Best Reunion Looks: Casa girls
The Casa Amor girls had a rough go of it in the villa. While the recoupling made for the best TV of the year, these four stunning ladies bore the brunt of the fallout. For instance, Kenny Rodriguez and Miguel Harichi tossed Catherine Marshall and Sierra Sade Mills aside almost immediately. As a viewer, it was hard not to feel for Catherine, Sierra, Daia McGhee, and Daniela Ortiz Rivera.
Which is why I was thrilled to see that all chose incredible dresses for the reunion. In all of the red carpet photos, it’s clear that the girls felt gorgeous and confident. Whether or not it was intentional, these looks go together harmoniously. These ladies are all true bombshells!
Worst Reunion Looks: Kordell Beckham
I appreciate when guys on these shows take risks with fashion because far too many of them wear suits that are kinda boring and forgettable. And Kordell can pull off high fashion – no wonder he’s a successful model. He was consistently one of the best dressed in the villa, alongside his girlfriend Serena, which is one of many reasons fans loved them. We can’t forget their matching ensembles in the premiere and the finale!
However, this specific outfit choice just doesn’t work. There’s too much going on, it’s distracting. The hat also feels like one element too many. Still, the fact that he almost pulls it off is impressive.
Best Reunion Looks: Olivia Walker
Olivia Walker became a huge fan favorite because of her fiery personality. True to that nature, the Aussie often wore badass outfits in the villa. Her array of bold, sultry looks in shades of black and red reminded everyone that she was the OG bombshell for a reason, even if she didn’t find a love match.
For the reunion, Liv switched things up. This breezy dress is a perfect choice for a Love Island USA event, as it was the ultimate summer show. And the shade of blue beautifully matches her stunning eye color. It reminds me of the costumes worn by the titular mermaid in the movie Aquamarine. Judging by her mermaid wave hairstyle, that seemed like what Liv was going for.
Worst Reunion Looks: Nicole Jacky
If Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington did break up, this is a great revenge dress. As a fashion statement, it’s less successful. Nicole, like many of the Islanders, clearly wasn’t sure what the dress code for this event was. Some went too formal, others too casual, and I’d say Nicole is guilty of the latter. This seems more like a dress to go clubbing. Ultimately, it seems like the type of dress that’s not ideal for sitting for hours on end. Plus, the scarf details are a little odd, and I imagine they world get irksome to deal with while filming for that long.
Best Reunion Looks: Kassy Castillo
Kassy was only on Season 6 for a minute, but she brought the heat as a bombshell, and this red carpet look reflects why. Kassy’s dressed like she’s going to a fancy but not formal beach party. That’s the exact type of vibe of a Love Island USA reunion. And the color is stunning on her.
At an event where so many were confused about the dress code, Kassy knocked it out of the park. Maybe she’s better prepared, considering she went through this before in Season 5. She even managed to pick one of the only dresses that didn’t clash with the magenta carpet and backdrop.
Worst Reunion Looks: Andrea Carmona
Andrea Carmona made a huge impact on the entire season, despite only being there for a few days. Which is to say, the gorgeous girl did her job as a bombshell.
Like all the Islanders, Andrea can’t look bad. I even get what the singer was going for here. This style of dress could make for a timeless movie star, specifically a Marilyn Monroe-inspired, look. Unfortunately, it’s incredibly wrinkled in every photo. And there’s something about the structure of the dress that looks off. I’m not sure if it’s the fabric, or something else, but it just looks awkward instead of glamorous.
Best Reunion Looks: Miguel Harichi
Miguel was the runner-up of the season, but he won best-dressed man at the reunion. The first thing that sticks out to me about this suit is the color. Like Kassy’s dress, maybe it’s just that this goes well with the backdrop. But Miguel also looked even better away from the photo call carpet.
The Brit found a suave suit that was also not too formal. He looks cool, and it fits both himself and the event perfectly. It’s also, admittedly, difficult for Miguel to look bad. There’s a reason his bombshell entrance went down in Love Island history (not to mention his heart rate challenge routine)!
Undecided: Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans
I truly don’t know where to place Aaron and Kaylor’s outfits. But I think both are worth discussing.
Kaylor announced ahead of time that she would wear a revenge dress. As soon as the pictures came out, everyone said the same thing. Namely, it looks like a combination of Ariana’s reunion looks on Vanderpump Rules Seasons 10 and 11. If you’re planning to wear a revenge dress at a reality TV reunion, it makes sense to use that as inspiration!
Some were more positive about Aaron’s green suit- I saw comments naming him the best-dressed guy. Maybe I’ve just heard the famous rule that you’re supposed to wear a double-breasted suit with a tie too many times. With both Aaron and Kaylor’s reunion outfits, there’s something off. However, in both cases, they get points for trying something bold and different, compared to what they wore in the villa.
