Brittany Cartwright shocked the reality TV world when she filed for divorce from Jax Taylor. The two tied the knot in June 2019. Of course, their shared history stretched back even further than that.
As fans of The Valley know, Jax and Brittany made their names on Vanderpump Rules. Their relationship blossomed in 2015 and fans saw their growth, or lack thereof, on the show. Indeed, many viewers saw that Brittany stepped into a bad situation with Jax. Nevertheless, she seemed happy.
And it certainly wasn’t all bad. Without Jax, there would be no Cruz, whom Brittany clearly loves immensely. And with that in mind, Brittany reportedly believed a divorce would be in her son’s best interest, not just hers. So, where does that leave Brittany now?
Brittany Cartwright’s friends and fans show up in full force
On August 27, Brittany made an Instagram post amid the news of her divorce. She posted a picture of herself in a pink dress and full-on glam. In the post’s caption, she wrote, “Getting my sparkle back. ✨” Her comments were littered with support, both from fans and from fellow reality TV stars.
Former VPR costar and upcoming Valley costar Scheana Shay commented, “shining bright baby!” Former Miss USA Nia Sanchez wrote, “Yes!! Love you queen Britt ?” And former Temptation Island star Kady Cannon Crambeer wrote, “The sparkle never left boo ?” These were just a few of the public figures who showed their support.
Brittany’s many fans also poured out their support, with comments such as, “Happy for you girl!! You always sparkled, you are just sparkling more after getting rid of the trash.” Speaking of Jax, the star has been uncharacteristically quiet since returning from his inpatient treatment. Perhaps he truly did change. But only time will tell where he lands amid these surprises.
