Ryan Serhant’s Owning Manhattan Gets Season 2 at Netflix

Get ready for a whole lot more of Ryan Serhant! His Netflix show, Owning Manhattan, just got the green light for Season 2. In a world full of canceled Netflix shows, this is definitely something to celebrate.

Season 1 of the real estate show just dropped on Netflix earlier this summer, and now, cameras are about to start rolling for a brand-new set of episodes.

Owning Manhattan Season 2 is coming soon

The news of Owning Manhattan Season 2 was first reported by Variety. It comes just a few days after Maurcio Umansky’s similarly named show, Buying Beverly Hills, got canceled after two seasons. Hopefully, Ryan’s show can at least make it to three.

Ryan’s show is produced by Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey of World of Wonder. It’s the same folks who brought us RuPaul’s Drag Race and Million Dollar Listing. They know what they’re doing, and in a statement, they said they were “thrilled” to produce more episodes of this show.

“Ryan Serhant and the entire cast and production team put their souls into making an unforgettable series that combines compelling business, extraordinary production values, and endless heart,” the pair said in a statement.

While certain Netflix real estate shows have been criticized for not focusing enough on actual real estate, Ryan and his crew have hailed their show for being different. In particular, Jessica Markowski explained that all of her transactions were “real.” They’re actually selling real estate here—no acting background required.

For Season 2, the producers teased that we’re going to get to learn even more about Ryan and his crew. Jessica will return, along with Tricia Lee and Nile Lundgren. In addition to seeing more of their real estate prowess, we’re going to learn more about what makes them tick, and the back stories that brought them to the Big Apple real estate world.

Randy teased, “I can’t wait for people to get to know this team even more. We’re going to need more than eight episodes.”

Season 1 of Owning Manhattan is streaming on Netflix.
