Artem Chigvintsev Claimed Nikki Garcia Threw Shoes at Him in 911 Call for Paramedics

TW: This article contains discussions of alleged domestic violence in which a child was present.

The domestic violence claims against Artem Chigvintsev have left Dancing with the Stars fans shocked, and as more details emerge about what happened, the story has become even more disturbing.

Artem was arrested and charged with causing corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. The identity of his victim remains confidential, so it hasn’t been confirmed if it involved his wife, Nikki Garcia. Either way, the former WWE star, also known as Nikki Bella, has asked for privacy.

Meanwhile, the 911 call has revealed more insight into what exactly happened. It turns out their son was present when this all went down, and Artem was the one who initially dialed 911.

Artem requested medical assistance but then told them not to come

TMZ reviewed the 911 call, which revealed how Artem put out the request for first responders. Originally, he asked for medical assistance, so the dispatcher shared more context with law enforcement.

The dispatcher said, “Initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at rp [reporting party].”

After requesting medical assistance, Artem called 911 again and told them they were no longer needed. However, the 911 dispatcher noted that there was a child present at the time of the incident. Thus, the cops showed up about an hour after he made the call.

When law enforcement arrived, the alleged victim had visible injuries, which is what prompted Artem’s arrest. Since then, the DWTS pro has been released from jail, and his wife has asked for privacy as they navigate this situation. Whatever happened here, we’re wishing the best for everyone.
