Nobody wants to buy Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s McMansion. But why? Well, who can say for sure? Buying any house right now is a complicated ordeal. What’s more, Kim and Kroy have sort of given the house a bad name, what with all the domestic spats and police visits.
Unfortunately, the struggles in selling their home are just one of their many concerns. As Don’t Be Tardy fans know, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alums filed for divorce in mid-2023. Their separation wasn’t gentle. The two fired off insults and accusations left and right.
One of the stressors prompting the divorce was money, of course. The IRS said the couple allegedly owed over $1 million in unpaid taxes. Perhaps they shouldn’t have splurged so much on their house. But despite the high quality of their home, they just can’t seem to find a buyer. Talk about unfortunate timing.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s house selling for $2 million undervalue
On August 29, PEOPLE reported that Kim and Kroy dropped the price of their mansion again. The reality stars slashed the house’s price to $3.5 million, despite its estimated value. Reportedly, appraisers marked the mansion’s market value as $5.5 million. “It’s an incredible deal for a house that size in a neighborhood that beautiful,” a source told PEOPLE.
“I can’t imagine it’ll be on the market that much longer,” the source added, considering the great value. Granted, this isn’t the first time Kim and Kroy have dropped the price. Still, no one has offered to buy the mansion, as far as we know. It certainly begs the question of how many times the couple might need to drop the price tag to finally get a sale.
When the house’s price dropped last time, Kim and Kroy were trying to avoid foreclosure. Reportedly, the pair had until August 26 to find a buyer. Notably, that date has passed. Nevertheless, the price dropped once more. Do the pair have more time to find a buyer? Maybe so. Or maybe they’re desperate. Kim better hope that Surreal Life money holds out.
